- Dissected and analyzed existing examples of immigrant poetry from around the world, closely documenting the techniques different poets apply and what these techniques contribute to the general conversation on immigration.
- Composed a chapbook of my immigrant poetry, putting several of these techniques into practice and successfully bringing new perspectives to the topic of immigration as reflected in the world of poetry.
